Use RedesIA from your AI assistant

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code or any MCP-compatible assistant to your RedesIA account. Ask it to check your calendar, create posts and reels from your photos, or publish them, just by writing in plain language.

Published October 16, 2026

In short: paste the server address into your assistant, sign in to RedesIA and choose which permissions to grant. Before it spends credits or publishes, the assistant asks you, and prices and limits are the same as on the website.

What you can do

It is for people who already use RedesIA and also work with an AI assistant every day: instead of opening the website for each task, you ask for it in a conversation. You do not need to know how to code or learn any commands. Examples of what you can write:

  • You“What do I publish today?”What happens: It checks your calendar and tells you what is due today, with the copy of each piece. If you want to see the picture of one, just ask.
  • You“Make a carousel from these 3 photos.”What happens: It asks whether you want them as they are or designed by AI. If anything uses credits, it tells you the price and waits for your confirmation.
  • You“Write a reel script for Friday.”What happens: It prepares the script, dialogue, caption and hashtags, and tells you the price before spending anything.
  • You“Publish it to Instagram tomorrow at 6 pm.”What happens: It shows you a preview and waits for your confirmation before scheduling it. Instagram must already be connected on the website.

You need a RedesIA account: sign in or create a free one.

How to connect

The server is the same for every assistant; only the place you paste it changes. There are three steps:

  1. 1. Add the serverPaste the address into your assistant.
  2. 2. Sign in and approveRedesIA opens in your browser. You sign in to your account and choose the permissions.
  3. 3. Ask for what you needBack in the assistant, it can now work with your account.

Claude

  1. Open Settings → Connectors.
  2. Choose Add custom connector.
  3. Give it a name (for example, RedesIA) and paste the server address.
  4. Click Connect: RedesIA opens so you can sign in and approve the permissions.

ChatGPT

Custom connectors need developer mode and are not available on every ChatGPT plan.

  1. Turn on developer mode in Settings → Connectors → Advanced.
  2. Create a new connector, name it RedesIA and paste the server address.
  3. For authentication, choose OAuth.
  4. Save, sign in to RedesIA and approve the permissions. Then turn the connector on in the conversation where you want to use it.

Cursor

Add the server to your ~/.cursor/mcp.json file (or to .cursor/mcp.json inside a project):

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "redesia": {
      "url": "https://app.redes-ia.com/mcp"
    }
  }
}
  1. Save the file. Cursor lists RedesIA under Settings → MCP.
  2. Click to sign in, and approve the permissions in RedesIA.

VS Code

Create the file .vscode/mcp.json in your project with this content:

{
  "servers": {
    "redesia": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://app.redes-ia.com/mcp"
    }
  }
}
  1. Start the server from the file itself, with the Start button VS Code shows above it.
  2. Sign in to RedesIA and approve the permissions.

Claude Code

Run this command in your terminal:

claude mcp add --transport http redesia https://app.redes-ia.com/mcp
  1. Inside Claude Code type /mcp, pick redesia and follow the link to sign in.
  2. Approve the permissions in RedesIA.

Any other MCP client

  1. Add a remote MCP server with HTTP transport (Streamable HTTP) and the address above.
  2. For authentication, choose OAuth. You do not need an API key or a client ID: the server registers the client by itself and uses PKCE.
  3. Sign in to RedesIA and approve the permissions.

Menu names change when assistants update. If you cannot find the option, look for “custom connector” or “remote MCP server” in your assistant’s help.

Signing in and permissions

When you connect, the assistant sends you to a RedesIA page. You type your password there, on RedesIA, and it never reaches the assistant.

  1. If you are not signed in, you sign in first.
  2. You will see the assistant’s name and the address it will return to, so you can check it is the one you just added.
  3. Tick which permissions you grant (below).
  4. Approve and you are back in the assistant, now connected.

There are three permissions, and you decide which ones to give:

  • Read read: See your account, businesses, calendar, posts, credits and publishing status. Always granted.
  • Create create: Write to the calendar and create content. Everything that spends credits sits under this permission.
  • Publish publish: Publish to your connected Instagram or Facebook, or cancel a scheduled post.

With the Read permission alone, the assistant cannot spend a credit or publish anything, whatever it tries. Tools from a permission you did not grant are not even shown to it, and are refused if it tries to use them.

Everything it can do: 24 tools

Each tool calls the same function the RedesIA website uses, with the same rules, limits and prices. The assistant picks the tool by itself: you do not need to learn the names.

“Sometimes” means it depends on what you ask: an idea the AI writes uses credits; one you write yourself does not. In those cases the assistant tells you the price first.

Read read

Look things up without changing anything.

  • get_accountCredits: NeverWho is signed in, your plan, your credit balance, how many businesses you have and how many your plan allows, and links to the website.
  • list_brandsCredits: NeverYour businesses: name, description, language, and connected Instagram or Facebook accounts.
  • get_brandCredits: NeverOne business in full: profile, tone, colors, the image library and whether it can publish.
  • get_creditsCredits: NeverYour balance (included and purchased), what each action costs, recent history and the link to buy more.
  • list_style_optionsCredits: NeverThe visual styles and typographies that can be used when creating images.
  • get_calendarCredits: NeverYour publishing calendar: today, this week, what is coming, filtered by type, status or text.
  • get_postCredits: NeverOne post in full: idea, caption, hashtags, images, reel script and publishing history.
  • plan_ideasCredits: NeverHow many ideas a period needs and what generating them would cost. Spends nothing.
  • get_jobCredits: NeverHow something being made in the background (pictures, a reel plan, a batch of ideas) is going, and its result when it finishes. Costs nothing.
  • get_publishing_statusCredits: NeverWhether the business can publish and to which accounts; if not, the link to connect them.
  • list_publishing_accountsCredits: NeverEvery Facebook Page and Instagram account already connected, so the assistant can post to the ones you choose.
  • get_publish_jobCredits: NeverThe state of a publish (scheduled, publishing, published or failed) and its links.

Create create

Write to the calendar and create content.

  • generate_ideasCredits: AlwaysA batch of ideas, with their captions, spread across a date range.
  • create_postCredits: SometimesA post on the calendar: the AI writes the idea or you supply it.
  • regenerate_ideaCredits: SometimesA different idea for a post, based on your feedback.
  • give_feedbackCredits: SometimesChange what you do not like: the idea or the picture, in your own words. Your feedback outranks the chosen style.
  • update_postCredits: NeverChange the title, date, type, caption or hashtags.
  • upload_imageCredits: NeverAdd an image (link or file) to the business’s library or to one post.
  • create_post_from_imageCredits: SometimesYour photos turned into a finished post: as they are, or designed by AI.
  • generate_post_mediaCredits: AlwaysThe images for a post, carousel or story: writes the visual brief and draws them.
  • generate_reel_planCredits: AlwaysA reel plan: script, dialogue, caption, hashtags and first frame, with step-by-step instructions. It does not generate the video.

Publish publish

Put content on your social accounts, or cancel it before it goes out.

  • publish_postCredits: NeverPublish now or schedule to Instagram or Facebook. It asks for confirmation; without it, it only shows a preview.
  • cancel_publishCredits: NeverCancel a scheduled post.
  • reschedule_publishCredits: NeverMove a scheduled post to another day or time.

Credits: the price, before it spends

Tools that can spend credits say so up front and work in two steps. In the first, nothing is spent: the assistant gets how many credits it would cost and what your balance is, and asks you. Only if you confirm does it repeat the call with confirm_spend and run it.

  • You pay on delivery. Credits are charged after the result is saved. If a generation fails, you are not charged.
  • Same prices as on the website. There is no separate fee for using an assistant. Ask it to check your balance, or look in the app; before every spend it quotes you the price.
  • If you run short, the assistant gives you the link to buy credits. Buying them, changing plan and paying always happen on the website, never from the assistant.

Plans and what each action costs are on the plans page.

Publishing to Instagram and Facebook

  • Connect your accounts first, on the website. Connecting with Meta requires signing in in a browser, so the assistant cannot do it for you. If the business is not connected, it gives you the link.
  • Now or scheduled. Ask it to publish right away or for a day and time, on Instagram, Facebook or both.
  • Always with your confirmation. Publishing is a permission of its own and also works in two steps: without confirm_publish, the assistant only shows you a preview and publishes nothing.
  • Track it and cancel. You can ask what state a post is in and cancel a scheduled one before it goes out.
  • It does not use credits. Publishing and scheduling cost no credits; what you pay for is generating with AI.

What Meta requires to connect your accounts: how to connect Facebook and Instagram.

Reels: the full plan, without the video

For a reel, the assistant hands you the script, the dialogue, the caption, the hashtags and the first frame, plus step-by-step instructions with links to the tools and guides for filming or producing it. RedesIA does not generate the video: you film or create it yourself with those instructions. Preparing the plan does use credits, so the assistant tells you the price first.

Use your own photos

Give the assistant your photos, as a public link (https) or included in the conversation: up to 4 MB each and 10 images at a time. Then choose how to use them:

  • As they are: your photo is the post. It costs nothing, unless you ask the AI to look at the photo and write the caption and hashtags.
  • Designed by AI: your photo is the reference, and the AI designs the image using your brand’s colors and logo, the style and typography you choose, and either the title you give or an AI idea. This uses credits, and the assistant tells you how many first.

You can also upload an image to your business’s library, at no cost, to use later.

What stays on the website, on purpose

Some things the assistant cannot do, by design:

  • Creating, editing or deleting a business.
  • Payments: subscribing, changing plan, buying credits or turning on auto-recharge. The assistant only gives you the link.
  • Connecting Instagram or Facebook: it needs Meta’s own sign-in in a browser.
  • Deleting posts or images, deleting your account, changing passwords, two-factor authentication and email preferences.
  • Anything to do with RedesIA administration.

Security and control

  • Standard sign-in. OAuth 2.1 with PKCE (S256). The assistant never sees your password, and there is no long-lived API key that could leak.
  • Short-lived credentials. The access token lasts 1 hour. The refresh token lasts 30 days and changes on every use: the previous one stops working immediately. If someone presents one that was already used, a sign of a stolen token, the whole connection is ended.
  • An absolute cap. A connection lasts 180 days at most, however much you use it. After that you approve it again.
  • Stored so they cannot be read. Tokens are stored only as hashes (SHA-256); the plain token exists only in the response that hands it to the assistant.
  • Narrow reach. The assistant only sees your account’s businesses, and only with the permissions you granted. Its token works only on the MCP server: it is no use on the rest of RedesIA or on administration.

How to disconnect

In RedesIA, open Settings → Connected assistants. You will see each connection with the assistant’s name, where it returns to, its permissions, when it connected and when it was last used. Disconnect cuts its access immediately: the assistant’s next call gets an authorization error.

Open Settings

If something fails

The assistant says it is not authorized, or shows error 401

The connection ended: you disconnected it, 180 days passed, or it was closed for security. Remove the server from the assistant and add it again to approve it anew. The one-hour access renews itself; that needs nothing from you.

The assistant is missing a tool or says it has no permission

You connected without that permission. Disconnect the assistant in Settings and connect it again, ticking Create or Publish.

It says the business needs to finish onboarding

The business was started but not finished. Open it on the website, complete the steps and come back to the assistant. Creating and editing businesses always happens on the website.

It says the business is not connected to Instagram or Facebook

Connect it on the website, from the business’s settings; the assistant gives you the link. Then ask it to publish again.

It says you do not have enough credits

Buy credits on the website (the assistant gives you the link) or wait for your plan to renew. Nothing was charged for the attempt.

Frequently asked questions

What is MCP?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets an AI assistant use tools from other services. The RedesIA server is one of those tools: it lets the assistant look at and work with your account, with your permission.

Which assistants does it work with?

Any that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth sign-in. Above you have the steps for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code and Claude Code, and the details for any other client.

Does connecting cost anything?

Connecting is free. Actions use the same credits, prices and plan limits as on the website, and the assistant tells you the price before it spends.

Can the assistant publish or spend credits without asking me?

No. Spending credits and publishing work in two steps: the first call only returns the price or a preview and does nothing; the assistant has to repeat it with confirmation, and it is instructed to ask you first. If you do not want it to be able to publish, do not grant the Publish permission.

What does the assistant see of my account?

What the tools return, and only for your businesses and within the permissions you granted: business profile, calendar, posts, credits and publishing status. What each assistant provider does with your conversations is up to that provider; check your assistant’s terms and privacy settings.

Can I use it with several businesses?

Yes. The assistant can list the businesses in your account and work on the one you name.

Can it delete my posts or my account?

No. Deleting posts or images, deleting the account, changing passwords and payments can only be done on the website.

Does it work offline?

No. The assistant reaches your RedesIA account online every time, so you need an internet connection and a valid connection.
